In our sessions, I'm dedicated to understanding and honoring every aspect of who you are. My approach emphasizes that your experiences, identities, and background all weave together to shape your unique story. I'm committed to creating a space where we explore the intersections of your identity and understand how they impact your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we'll navigate these different layers ensuring that our conversations honor and validate every part of you.

You do not exist in a vacuum, and it is important for me to understand your lived experiences and tailor interventions to help you figure out where you are, where you’ve been, and where you would like to go on your therapeutic journey. I value utilizing an individualized and intentional approach with each client through the use of evidence-based therapies to provide the most effective therapy possible. This means that I will select interventions that are supported by research to manage your concerns. However, I recognize that one size certainly does not fit all, and this is why it is so important that I understand the bigger picture of who you are. With this in mind, we will work together to create a plan that fits the unique human that you are.

My approach to therapy is integrative with a focus on the therapeutic relationship. I believe that trust must be earned within the therapy space, and I work to build a collaborative, warm, and supportive environment that promotes growth, autonomy, and exploration. As an integrative therapist, I use interventions from CBT, DBT, ACT, ERP, IPT, and attachment therapy all within a multicultural and feminist context. This means that therapy with me includes exploring your social relationships and the impact of the systems that we live in on your current concerns. I recognize that systemic inequalities contribute to an individual’s concerns and incorporate this frame into my treatment.

Approach

It takes effort, vulnerability, hard work, and consistency to heal, and I am grateful to be able to embark on this journey with you.
